Arminta and Colin - Cambridge Family Photos

Colin and Arminta asked me to help them celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with a fun family photoshoot down by the water at Riverbluffs Park in Cambridge. We had such a great morning playing in the park! I think when people ask for family photos they are expecting a picture of them all sitting together. But with a little planning a family photoshoot can actually be entertaining for the kids. I think that it shows in the shots and the kids look like they are having fun and are much more natural.

Angela & Scellig's Muskoka Family Portraits

One weekend this summer, I was a Muskoka portrait photographer - shooting summer camp staff members and a family photoshoot near Utterson (west of Huntsville). We did our best to brave the mosquitos for Angela and Scellig's family pictures and I think we got some great shots outside.  We wrapped up our night with some snacks and a wee dance party when PYT came on the stereo.

Elizabeth and Rebecca - Party of 2

I was in the Orangeville / Collingwood area last month for an awesome photoshoot with Elizabeth and Rebecca.  They hired me to come do a Party of X style shoot on Rebecca's farm - you know how much I love farms! Both Elizabeth and Rebecca run CSA's (consumer supported agriculture) on their respective farms. CSA's enable buyers to purchase a share of the weekly vegetables from a local family farm.

I loved shooting at Rebecca's place because a) they milk goats - lots of goats, and b) her father is a master dry-stone mason and they have all of these beautiful walls and a dry-stone, Scottish Highlands-style house.

Donny Osmond in Woodstock

I was working this morning for Heart FM, one of our local Woodstock radio stations, shooting the Jon and Liz Show with special guest... Donny Osmond.

It was a really funny morning and Donny was such a great host to the 5 winners who got to have breakfast with him.

I also want to thank the Holiday Inn Express for being great hosts and East Side Marios Woodstock for a brillant breakfast.

When Beth & I were at the Tri-State Camp Conference in Atlantic City we paid homage to my photo-buddy Photojunkie and set up an ad-hoc photo booth.   I think there are some really fun pictures from summer camp people from around the world. Sunset Over Mount Royal

Beth and I took a long weekend vacation to do some Montreal photography last week.   It was an awesome train ride together and we got to see some old friends, eat amazing food and buy bagels.   I'll post our photos as we get to them but I also shot this timelapse of the sunset over Mount Royal.
